DAY 1: MELBOURNE TO FOSTER

Heading out of town our first stop in South Gippsland is Caldermeade Farm & Cafe, an ideal place to begin our holiday. Continuing on we travel to Korumburra. At Burra Brewing Co. we enjoy a beer with lunch. Afterwards we journey deeper into the rolling hills, arriving at the Prom Country Lodge in Foster.

DAY 2: WILSONS PROMONTORY

Winding our way through the Wilsons Promontory National Park, we arrive at Tidal River. We board Pennicott Wilderness Journeys amphibious boat and cruise a rugged and raw coast like no other, marvelling at its prehistoric boulders. Skull Rock's eerie facade becomes even more mysterious the closer we get. After an amazing morning cruising the inspiring coastline, we return to dry land where a welcoming picnic lunch awaits us in the National Park grounds.

DAY 3: LOCALS AND THEIR PASSIONS

Today is all about the wonderful produce that the fertile land of South Gippsland has to offer. Situated on the hills overlooking the Tarwin River we visit Blue Tree Honey Farm for a delicious morning tea . Afterwards we visit Golden Creek Olives for oil tastings Then nestled within a picturesque valley, we find Waratah Hills Vineyard. Enjoy lunch, tastings and the surrounding vale before heading out to Beloka Kelpies Stud for the real deal authentic working dogs demonstration & show.

DAY 4: HISTORIC PORT ALBERT

On arrival at the idyllic coastal fishing village of Port Albert we meet a local historian and visit one of Victoria’s oldest cemeteries - The Alberton Cemetery. After listening to the fascinating stories of the past we head to the Regional Maritime Museum for morning tea and a guided tour of its extensive collection. We then enjoy lunch at the Wild Fish Restaurant before meeting a local artist who will tell us more about Port Albert. Along the way we stop at the Welshpool Long Jetty, an iconic destination in the Prom Country. Tonight's dinner is served at the Promontory Restaurant and Winery. The perfect way to farewell this picturesque part of Gippsland.
