Accommodation Tour Guide Transport Provider

Heritage Tours, a Cairns based tour company, has been taking small, leisurely paced group tours to Queensland's Cape York and the Gulf Savannah since 1989.

With numbers ranging from 10 to 24 passengers on the custom built Isuzu tour coaches are all with reclining seats, panoramic windows, road-cam, TV and on-board toilets, passengers get the ease of an organised tour with the personalised touch of travelling in a small group.

Whether you want to experience the adventure of Cape York or the history and scenery of the Gulf Savannah, you are sure of a great adventure into remote Australia.

The tours venture off the beaten track to discover the lifestyle, landscapes, flora and fauna of the outback less travelled.

CAPE YORK TOUR
Our most popular tour to Cape York is the 7 day Cape York Fly / Drive Fully Accommodated Tour with ensuite rooms every night. The tour departs from Cairns with a flight to Thursday Island, where you enjoy a guided bus tour. Travel by ferry through the Torres Straits to Seisia, our accommodation for the next 2 nights. Stand on the Top of Australia, swim in Fruit Bat Falls, spend the night at a ‘true blue’ Aussie cattle station, view the sunset at Weipa. Visit the historic town of Coen and stay at the Old Musgrave Telegraph Station. Travel through Lakefield National Park, visit Split Rock, Aboriginal Rock Art. Stay at historic Cooktown and travel on the Bloomfield Track via Cape Tribulation back to Cairns. All breakfasts and dinners are served at the restaurants of the accommodation venues.

GULF SAVANNAH TOUR
9 Day Fully Catered Accommodated Tour from Cairns. On our first day we step back in time at the Historic Village of Herberton. After a night in Malanda we travel on board the Savannahlander train from Mt. Surprise to Forsayth. Next enjoy a sunset cruise at Karumba, visit Burketown, Burke & Wills Camp #119, explore Lawn Hill National Park, cruise Lawn Hill Gorge and visit the Riversleigh Fossil Fields. Overnight in Normanton, before a journey on the legendary Gulflander train. Cruise the majestic Cobbold Gorge and explore the World’s longest Lava Tubes at Undara.
You will enjoy 8 nights accommodation with an ensuite bathroom and all linen is supplied. All breakfasts and dinners are served at the restaurants of the accommodation venues.
