Down' n Dirty

Get down 'n dirty in a safe, fun and informative half day tour which gives an insight to the world of an opal miner.
This daily experience includes;
*A video introduction to the opal mining and gem polishing industry
* A briefing to ensure your visit is safe and enjoyable
* A tour of the opal fields
* Access into a working mine complete with hard hat and searching for your own trace of colour (opal)
* The chance of going "noodling in the mullock" combing the rock matrix on the surface for opals overlooked by the miners.
* A drink at the Underground bar

Desert Cave Tour

A half day tour which puts you in touch with the unique Outback characters of Coober Pedy and a lifestyle quite unlike anywhere else on earth. The Desert Cave Experience departs daily and includes:
* An introduction to the town where half the inhabitants live underground

* Paying your respects in one of the world's underground churches
