Macarthur Region

This morning we take a tour of Camden Museum. Operated by the Camden Historical Society, Camden Museum is a social history museum and heritage centre. The museum contains a rich collection of Camden’s historical artefacts including photos, maps, clothing, uniforms, furniture, guns, musical instruments and more. Afterwards visit Camden main street walk and Macarthur Park. Enjoy a self guided heritage walk of Camden’s main street and a stroll through Macarthur Park. Camden’s main street reveals a rich array of heritage properties. Macarthur Park features a beautiful heritage rose garden. Lunch today is a at Trattoria La Vigna, Camden where we enjoy an Italian meal at the picturesque Trattoria La Vigna, as you look out over the adjoining vineyard. This afternoon we visit Wivenhoe Historic House for a tour through historic Wivenhoe, built in 1838. The property features stables, enclosed courtyard, coach house, servants’ quarters and landscaped grounds. After our tour we head back to our motel for dinner.
